The elevated pole position Peregian Beach site presented Reitsma and Associates with an amazing opportunity to create a modern, thoroughly considered home of substance. The design savvy clients required all living to be located on one level to suit an approaching retirement phase of life, hence the elevated "Sky pool" was also incorporated into the very earliest sketch concepts. The homes concealed ground level entrance sets the tone of what is an unconventional approach throughout. Guests have the option to journey by lift or by foot scaling the multilevel and directional staircase which concludes with a magnificent Eastern ocean vista that can't help but steal the show. Working closely with the clients and their talented builder was a pleasure, a sense of accomplishment was achieved for all involved, a house to be enjoyed now and for the next generation also.
