Purpose.
Alkira makes a small Alexandra Headland site work hard, creating a flexible coastal retreat without feeling constrained by its compact footprint. Vertical volumes, open robing and a rooftop platform expand the way the home can be used, while an alternating batten screen protects privacy and allows the building to breathe. A restrained exterior of concrete block, glass and aluminium gives little away from the street, revealing a warmer, more expressive interior shaped by art, timber and texture.
