Purpose.
This home was shaped by the challenge and opportunity of its steep ridgeline site. Rather than fighting the slope, the design steps with it, lifting the main living spaces toward the northern ocean and park views while connecting the lower level directly to the pool and landscape. Created for a family who entertain often and live outdoors, the house balances openness, privacy and adaptability, with spaces that can just as easily host a full house of guests as settle into everyday coastal life.
