Purpose.
Located on a beachfront site in Marcoola, Eleutheria is a family home designed to balance openness with privacy. The layout is centred around a landscaped open-air courtyard, bringing light, breeze and greenery deep into the interior and anchoring the main living spaces.
A standout element is the operable rear screen, inspired by a meaningful artwork by Indigenous artist Kurun Warun. This feature filters sunlight, adds cultural depth, and creates a striking facade facing the dunes. Materially, the home pairs randomised GB Honed blockwork with interlocking seamed cladding, giving the exterior a strong yet refined coastal presence.
The design incorporates an elevated pool, an outdoor living area framed by a double-height void, and a rooftop viewing terrace capturing panoramic coastal views.
Interiors by CG Design Studio introduce a rich palette of walnut timber, Aquarzo quartzite and deep green tones, providing warmth and sophistication. Landscaping by Conlon complements and softens the dwelling, grounding the home in its natural setting.
