Located on a south facing canal site within the Pelican Waters precinct this 6 unit project presented a unique challenge. Henzil's development consortium set the brief and unusually decided to go for a less yield outcome to pursue a tangible quality of space. Each unit was designed to engage with the canal yet maintain maximum privacy and Northern light. The design outcome incorporated a private internal courtyard accessed by a battened breezeway,which also avoided the typical front door arrival. With 3 bedrooms plus study space, 2.5 bathrooms, galley style kitchen, full size dining with built in window seat, large living space with glazing to both north and south along with double car accommodation these units presented the benefits of a full size house at a more obtainable and manageable Level. Aimed at the empty nesters who were downsizing without compromising this set of six skillfully built units soon became a sold out success.
