Having designed a canal front home some five years earlier, we were commissioned by our past client to design a new commercial premises for his expanding manufacturing business. The land had been secured in the new Caloundra industrial park; a brief had been carefully laid out along with thoughts on the buildings location and layout of key zones.

 

The new building would provide a much-needed space for both manufacturing and administration. From the outset, our client had decided to design and construct a benchmark facility that showcased their inherent innovation and attention to detail. The new building would be broken into two main sectors, the first being a space for research and development, directly linking to a large workshop where all manufacturing would take place. The second sector of the building being a public space; showcasing their vast product range, along with sufficient admin space to cater for their immediate needs and any future expansion.

 

Every detail was considered, literally down to the kitchen taps; no detail was left to chance. The construction was executed at a rapid pace by the client's dedicated builder, ensuring deadlines were met, and the vast task of relocation and operations startup could take place with minimal fuss. Officially opened in November 2017 the new premises is a credit to Eniquest’s “big” vision . Also a big thanks is extended to the many consultants and trades involved to achieve such an outstanding outcome, we are already missing our weekly site visits.
